When you envision him as a solipsist, every single decision makes sense. Well that plus a malignant narcissist who squandered a fortune and made a lot of very shady ‘friends’ along the way.

Trump would have made more money if he just put his inheritance into an index fund, IIRC. Of course all the bribes and frivolous lawsuits companies “settled” may make that no longer a true statement.

Hmmmmmm, has anyone ever explored the idea that trump has skitzophrenia? Maybe he really does think large amounts of people are saying things.

Of coarse, that doesn’t make it any better. That just means the president has mental illness, and is the guy in charge of the military and nukes. Which feels even worse than if he were just a narcisist.

If he was concerned about harming others, this would be the first time in his life. So yes he just admitted that he’s in the files and he will be harmed if they’re released.

No, there are absolutely other very important wealthy people who are tied to Epstein. I saw a picture of Bezos and Eric Schmidt with Maxwell that supposedly was dated 2018.

There are going to be very important people who used Epstein and not all will be people you dislike.

        Shrug. Oh well?

If that stuff comes to light, (normal) people might be disappointed in some instances, but I doubt they would have rather it did not come out and those people left unpunished.

Of course, sick fuckers like Donvict and people that worship the elite because of Worthington’s Law might feel differently.

That’s the whole point, isn’t it? Exposing criminals and charging them will hurt them in all sorts of ways. Personal responsibility suggests that if you made your own bed then you lie in it. If you get a bunch of “powerful” cohorts doing the same thing it becomes a criminal conspiracy cabal with certain protections built in. I guess they find themselves “tween” a rock and a hard place.

If it wasn’t so upsetting it would be funny that the people motivated by fury over elite pedophiles elected the biggest most elite pedophile to be their president.

Yes, that’s kind of a big part of it. Wealthy elites did bad things and we want them to hurt because we all hurt and they’re getting away with doing bad things.

    This is not rocket science…

If by ‘people’ we mean rich men who have no regard for other people and feel they are outside the law, then yes, people. Better to call them what they are rich criminal men. Those criminals are the ones they are afraid of hurting not the actual victims of their abuse.

Isn’t this actually the argument they are making to release Maxwell from prison? That the evidence proves her so guilty that she could not possibly have a fair trial.

lol … sounds a lot like the evangelical preacher with the million dollar private jet who asked his parishers to give more money to buy a second jet because it would save more people

(I remembered this story from a few years ago and thought it was ‘a second jet’ … I was wrong … the preacher was asking for donations to buy his FOURTH JET!!!)

    https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-44305873

Trump isn’t running a country … he’s an evangelical preacher leading a ministry called the United States

The church does. They need 1 so their staff can fly to other churches to spread the word. The other three are loaned out to a jet rental company that a shell company owned by the pastor’s shell company owns so he can appear to be making nothing off the church directly.

It does raise a question of just how many jets a single person needs. I, myself, could make do with as few as two, but I have a large family. I’m sure someone who lived a more frugal lifestyle might struggle by with only one? But I don’t see anyone needing more than three. It’s just so hard to find places to park them all…
