In an old job I worked a compressed 5 over 4 and loved it - managed to talk my way into getting Wednesday as the day off and it was so nice to never have to work for more than 2 days in a row with a little mini weekend in between

Working 8-6 every day did suck a bit, but I mostly got the first & last hour to myself as nobody else was doing the same shift

Would recommend if your work pattern allows it

For rectangular ones like this they often build it on shore as a big metal tube, and sink it into the water afterwards

Also love how (minor spoilers for Redemption Ark follow) FTL travel is possible in the universe, just so hard to do that if you get it wrong you’re lucky if it only blows up, rather than fucking with causality to the point where you never existed

Unsure, but it also outputs a time lapse at the same time where you can see the stars moving - I’d guess this is a by-product of the process (also cool that you can see some slight cloud movement which I didn’t know was there before)

What always blows my mind is those milky parts are hundreds of millions of stars too faint to see on their own, most of which probably have planets
