Yes. Anything that gives people monetary incentive over basic needs should be removed. Keep that shit to things that don’t matter.

If you make even a penny of profit, then yes. Housing should never be something someone does to make money. Shelter is a basic human need for survival.
As someone who has never ridden a train (unless you count the thing they use to get around the Atlanta airport or the slow ones at a theme park or zoo), I wouldn’t be shocked if I ended up doing something similar. I just think trains are neat and would love to ride one someday.
I’ll admit the streaks kept me hooked to at least checking in daily. Then I got a permaban so I couldn’t do streaks anymore so I stopped using the site.
My therapist recommended I try to do some volunteer work when I brought up not having anyone in person (other than him and family) to talk to about things really depressed me. Told me about a site called justserve which has quite a few community volunteering projects on it I’m willing to try out.
Probably around 4-6. I know the basics and can do a few other things after using resources from Google/YouTube, but there’s times where I stare at a problem and feel like I became my parents who can’t figure out how to make a window take up the whole screen.
My dad likes to feed wild racoons and I help him with that. He puts some dog food and a couple other things out for them and they come up every night to get some and hang out for a bit before returning home
Not to mention the homeless considering he personally went out of his way to destroy the few things they own.
Anything public facing or anything that has me carrying around a gun. Both are absolute no-gos in my mind.
I just started playing the original Star Fox. Having a lot more fun with it than I thought I would.
As a kid I cried out of frustration while playing Dragon Ball Z Budokai during the Super Saiyan Goku vs 100% Full Power Frieza fight. It was just a massive difficulty spike that I’d constantly struggle with. My mom would make fun of me for it for a long time.
For anything more recent, I did cry in Danganronpa V3 at the end of the fourth trial. It was the only time my favorite character in one of these games died and the reason it happened sent me into a batch of sadness that lasted a few days where I just refused to keep playing the game.
There’s some specific ones I miss from Reddit. Stuff for sites like Letterboxd, Serializd, and Backloggd. One for cartoons would be nice (I searched, but the only thing I found here was one for comics). Not sure if there’s a community here that would be good to ask for recommendations in for like TV shows and videogames.
Mostly just YouTube, Reddit, Bluesky, and now Lemmy. If something interests me I’ll dig more into it on other sites.
I like Bluesky a lot, but it’s more a Twitter replacement than Reddit. Harder to talk to dedicated communities for things on there. Like if want show recommendations, I’d rather go to a community/subreddit that has 92k members than asking the 80 followers I have on Bluesky (only like 10 or less aren’t bots I’m pretty sure or would even see my post) with the small chance a couple non-followers would see it and maybe comment.
Almost done with the mission mode on Mario Kart DS. Gonna start a playthrough of Shadow the Hedgehog next.
I’m 30 and struggle to go to bed before midnight or 1 AM. Not a good thing when I start work at 6 AM.
