That is alright, thanks ☺️

It was not most resources. It was just one SPE that was locket behind for the firmware.

I feel the standardization they mean is in the spec and not the specific build. Like, a lot of games are terrible optimized, not only on runtime but also in space needed, it is getting out of hand. But if you have to target a popular machine like steam deck or the steam machine that is not super high-end and have lower capacity storage you have no option but to put some attention on optimizing you game at least a little.

I also was really bad, at some point the strategy clicked for me. Sometimes it is not that obvious. Like, I don’t remember exactly, but not going over the number of cards on hand at the end of the turn was a must, so aways plan to have some space. Also because each turn the “enemy” cards reshuffle but are the same you can play ahead to pay stuff that you will need to pay on the next turn.

Then it adds barrier to entry. If it costs money it will be a problem for the more vulnerable population. If it is free and you can have as many as you want it is gonna be abused, if there is a limit it again starts to be a problem.

I always dread picking up a new game that is kinda demanding on the hardware because I hate to keep testing all graphical settings to have the best graphics with good fps. The least they could do is show a split scene with each setting on or off so you can judge with your eyes, but a button that you set the fps and the game crunches some numbers and benchmark to find the best quality graphics settings it can do at the target fps.
If it can adjust the graphics on demand would also be awesome because some games can have variable demands during gameplay.

Oddly enough I think that porn games are a little closer to do what you suggest because rewatch the cutscenes is kinda important it seems in that genre 😅

Om that note, see the save-tree would be nice. So you know when saves diverge and such.

I didn’t see it, by chance would you have the link to the original?
Also cyberpunk loves to do a double duty multiple unrelated actions to one keybind so you cannot rebind each action individually.
When the game let’s you rebind some but not all keys it is like spraying lemon on the wound, at least when no key is refundable you can guess they could not be arsed to do it, but when they just do a shitty job on it is like it was almost there, why not do it right?

Did you get streaming services to stream 4k? That was some bullshit I discovered when I bought my first 4k TV, that streaming services artificially limit quality for browser and Linux streaming.
What is you solution for remote controlling? I used one of this mini keyboard+mouse combo in a shape of controller, but mine was really trash. Most of the time I used a good mouse that worked ok on the couch surface and some mouse binds to pop up a virtual keyboard. But I was never completely happy with the solution.

At launch and for a good while PS3 came with a boot to Linux enabled by default, some universities around the globe bought some “from the shelf” to make some server farm and such.

Also people who like to DIY seem to forget that a lot of people want a turn-key solution, I even dare to say that most people prefer a ready made solution. Even a lot of people who work in tech when they get home want a just work solution.
I wish there was a client that you could easily create and toggle block lists. So you can have a politic block list but enable or disable whatever you feel like.

When I first started playing Ragnarok Online, there was this one item, aí believe it was something like bat wings, that was really valuable and when you used you would teleport to a random place in the same map/sections. I thought it was a shit item, but soon enough I understood that its power was to run away from problems when you are low on health.
So I think it still is a good power.

Instead you cannot stop staring at their boobs. And yes, that includes your family, bosses and so on.

So it needed some checks and boundaries, like only be available if a petition is signed by enough people or the Congress has to sign on it. Or has a limited number. Something. This US doing or not something because of tradition or something obviously does not work

Underhand Is a card game that I really liked, you have like a cult and you have to awake an old god. I liked the humor and the story and the cards.
Stranger Things: 1984 As others mentioned, it is a really solid old-school adventure “RPG”, kinda vibe of A Link to the Past. Really felt like a SNES game. But as others mentioned it changed name and it seems that now you need a Netflix account to play it, before it had not restriction.
This is just a honorable mention because it is not available anymore on the play store, but The Witch’s Isle was really nice, one of this point and click adventures, nice graphics and all. Not sure why it is not available, and it was free years ago, But it is on steam at least if you are curious.
I wish I had other games to recommend, but I also struggled to find good games and specially ones that are in portrait which I think would be better for casual gaming on the go.
I almost bought that keyboard, but never did in the end.
