Oh, I haven’t played it so no idea what later part of the message means. Quarter to third is a good number though.

Have you played the original?

Nice! How far along are you? Good look!

I am also looking forward to Star Fox, haven’t played the demo yet though, will try it just before the game releases so that I can continue right away if I like it.
How does NieR: Automata looks and plays on Switch? It’s on my list of games to play soon, but I am not sure if I should get it on PS or Switch.

I think 5-10 hours is a good spot for a game like this, and game ending with wanting you more is better than overstaying the welcome, but yeah, I understand the feeling.
As for Horizon Chase Turbo, I loved the game, but it has lots of rubber banding, specially after the first couple of cities. @[email protected]

So, in other words, it’s only thanks to Bethesda that you don’t have 3 games breaking on you 😀

FF7 seems to be community favourite this week!

Nice! Have you played the original FF7?

I was skipping Twilight Princess posts cause I haven’t played it yet and want to go in blind (some day). Hope it’s get a good remake too.
These are really good pictures. I am going to steal the first two for my wallpaper.

I am in a same boat as you, and there isn’t really anything on consoles that comes close. I am a patient gamer though, and haven’t played some of the suggestions mentioned here yet.
Witcher 3 is a very good game, I loved playing it and the expansions, had lots of fun, but it isn’t Skyrim. It is still a game you should play though, and depending on what you liked about Skyrim, you may end up liking Witcher 3 much more.
Fallout games come close, character building is different, the world is different, the setting (sci-fi, not fantasy) is different, but it is probably the games that come closest to Skyrim.
People here have mentioned Red Dead Redemption 2 and Cyberpunk 2077, I haven’t played either, but I have played Red Dead Redemption 1, and this is a completely different game. It’s GTA in Wild West, a very good game, but nothing like Skyrim. Cyberpunk 2077 can be a good option, it’s by same devs as Witcher 3, and they know how to make a good RPG and I know people who swear by it. So definitely worth a try.
There are currently a few games in development, that seem to capture the Skyrim feel from the trailers, but we will have to wait for the release and review.
There might be some games on PC, maybe smaller in scope but still capturing the same feeling, but I haven’t explored those yet.

KC:D is a very good game, but it’s very different, if you go in wanting something like Skyrim you’ll be sorely disappointed. But when you are willing to play a slow, but deep RPG, it’s a very fun game.

I am playing Fallout 4 these days, and it’s giving me an itch to go back and play Skyrim 😀

Don’t make multiple accounts and post same thing again and again. This is frowned upon here, and might get you banned.

Pokémon games while published by Nintendo are pretty much their own things. Even the polish and quality are not always up to the mark of other Nintendo games, but there is no denying that they are still part of Nintendo.

Heh, if we didn’t get a new Zelda game for Switch 2, I am going to blame you and @[email protected] 😄

This is actually not a bad advice. I did this with PlayStation, and skipped PS4 (and it was such a good generation!), played what I had on PS3, then Switch and then got a PS5. I am still mostly playing PS4 gen games, so plan to wait for PS6 Pro release, 3-4 years into next generation at least, but it still in the future and plans can change based on the features, price and my affordability.

Kids and older people who didn’t have Nintendo growing up and missed on these games.

That’s a valid point. If the routes are different enough that it doesn’t feel like I am playing the same game again and again, then that’s just more game content, but I doubt it will be that different.
Let’s wait and see!

Ah, no worries.
Cool, definitely going to try it.
And thanks, going to just steal whatever I like from now on 😀
