A thing I keep relearning when studying for cloud and security certs: the score report matters more than the pass mark. Nearly every vendor exam (AWS, Azure, CompTIA, ISC2) is domain-weighted, so two people can both sit at 70% overall while one is uniformly mediocre and the other is strong everywhere except one domain that will sink them on a bad day.

The practical fix is boring: take timed mock exams early rather than at the end, and track the per-domain breakdown instead of the total. If “Identity and Access Management” is at 45% while everything else is at 80%, you don’t need more study hours, you need three hours on one topic.

I maintain a free set of practice tests built around that idea - domain-weighted question banks with a written explanation on every answer, for about 90 certs:

Happy to answer questions about specific exams - I’ve sat a fair few of them.
