Russia’s military capacity has a lot of variables. Adoption of drone warfare is one component. Population, popular support, healthy economics, logistics, etc. all play a part. Russia can improve in one niche and still regress overall.

If I were a lawyer arguing against the law in court, my primary argument would be that this violates the interstate commerce section of the US Constitution.

The US maintains four military bases in Bulgaria. You can talk once Bulgarians do to these bases what happened to Russia in Mali.

The Gulf States are partnering with Ukraine for drone technology, not Russia. Russia may be making advances, but at a rate much slower than Ukraine, which is why Russia still has not achieved the aims of this stupid war.

I don’t think the military ships are going to be within range. They’ll draw a wide parameter and will use satellites and long range weapons to enforce the blockade.
