The money is in real games, made by real humans, small teams, low budgets, no corpo meddling. It’s time to unplug from these huge corporations and their agendas. They are the ones out of touch. They are the ones in a bubble. The indie scene is thriving. Check it out!

Perhaps there is some future market for infinite AI generated slop, but I want no part in that. Games are art. We learn from and relate to art, grow as people. AI is nothing more the. infinite flashing lights. This is dystopian bread and circuses to keep us docile while the billionaires and civilization.

I had a dream too. I was on the beach, and noticed epstein casually walking to the ocean to swim. I screamed like a maniac, every epithet you could think of, rapist, murderer, traitor, everything. Epstein didn’t care, didn’t even acknowledge it- just kept walking. I looked around at a crowd of onlookers for help. They were only looking at me. Who was the crazy person disrupting things? I started to doubt myself. Was I crazy? Could all of this really be true? Things seem to be continuing as normal. How could unspeakable horrors have been at the core of western society for decades?

Reminded me of the ending of ‘brave new world’ if anyone here has read that one. Pretty chilling.

What exactly is the function of the supreme court if he just does whatever he wants? He just broke the law blatantly. 100%. What will happen to him?

Nothing. No justice. System needs to be rebuilt from the ground up.

Does this ghoul go out in public? Does he expect to continue to be able to live in society, go into restaurants, rent cars, go for a walk?

This is the piece I don’t understand. Do these people not have a notion of the social contract? Do unto others? How could a person knowingly be associated with something like project 2025 and just keep on trying to exist in the public sphere?

This is one thing I noticed after coming here from reddit- I realized I was addicted to how angry reddit made me feel. It’s another kind of dopamine.

To your point, I’ve come to realize that just feeling angry all the time doesn’t really accomplish anything. It’s better to do some things to take action. So I’ve taken to helping the angry people find something helpful to do rather than stoking each other’s anger all the time. I think there’s an outrage addiction element at play here, as odd as that may sound.

I don’t really believe there should be explicit bans on politics in any particular space, personally, but I do think we as individuals can do better to look after each other’s mental health and contribute productive things to whatever conversational space we find ourselves in.

I just wish modern cars would do what you want. I want to set a temperature and a fan speed. Modern cars have some kind of hidden function. that you can’t use.

Also touchscreens are pretty unsafe.
