A common case of this is requiring password changes every x days, which is a practice that is known to actively make passwords worse.

They’re going to track every time their bundler is downloaded and bill the developer for it, that would include pirated copies and legit copies alike.

The govt uses pretty antiquated password security guidelines, this article is no surprise.
