And when I point out “you know that’s bullshit right?” The response is always some variation of: “I wasn’t paying attention to what it said I was just watching.” But they are absorbing it because days or weeks later they will parrot that same BS at me in a conversation.

Why do you think you’re chronically dehydrated? Is your urine brown? Have you been fainting? Do you have kidney stones? Otherwise if the answer to those questions is “no” you are likely getting more then enough hydration. It’s a myth that we need 8 glasses of water a day or need to be constantly drinking water to be “hydrated.” Just keep your water of choice available and drink when you are thirsty. You don’t need to (and shouldn’t) force yourself to drink beyond that. Our bodies are really good at self regulation and forcing more fluid into our system just equates to extra unnecessary trips to the bathroom. You don’t need to force yourself to “like” water. If it’s the only thing you have on hand to drink you’ll drink it when you get thirsty.

Agreed. Doing well on any test just proves that you’re good at taking a test. Intelligence is measured by far many variables then test taking. Nevermind that test scores can be raised by coaching and practice. If the IQ test were a true indicator of intellect the score would be fixed each and every time it is taken regardless of outside influences.

Your question is too broad. Which vehicle against which vehicle? The thing is today’s average driver drives an SUV or truck which is a literal tank in comparison, whereas in the 70s most people drove cars. The bumpers wouldn’t even line up (btw this is a modern issue between “cars” and “SUVs/Trucks”) leading to the bigger vehicle overtopping the smaller vehicle. Modern vehicles are also on average heavier and have better safety features. The only thing I will say is an advantage of an older vehicle is in lower speed crashes it has a better chance of being repaired then a modern vehicle that crumples, but at 70mph even solid steel will get wrecked (as will the passengers).

Also bold of you to assume a lot of these vehicles from the 70s can easily reach 70mph without shaking apart.

I watched a lot of anime in the 90s but I had to get all of it by VHS hunting through weird hole in the wall fan stores and doing loans/trades with friends. I use to browse the website anipike (the anime turnpike) to learn about animes because it had nearly all the anime in existence listed as well as summeries and pictures. It was a roll of the dice rather the tape would be Japanese, fan dubbed, subtitled, fan subtitled, or just a random copy someone made. Wild times. I don’t even think I saw all of NGE because getting incomplete sets also common.
