I’d say they are doing a pretty good job of dismantling and privatising it under our noses. When I was a kid I got my teeth fixed with braces for free. Can’t do that anymore. Edit: I want to back my stance up here with an example of what I did about 3 years ago. I used to work for a small NGO and when I accidentally saw some budgeting spreadsheets and saw how much of our funding went to our board members Vs actually buying drugs and paying surveyors and community drug distributors, I quit in disgust. I took a huge pay cut from that. Like 50% of my salary just gone.
