I prefer to use a photo I took and then build the rest of the desktop theme around it. Then again you end up looking at the desktop very little so it doesn’t matter too much.

From what I remember it’s backwards compatible on lower levels but can you easily run a Windows 7 app on Windows 10? Windows 11 was a smaller change but then they force you to upgrade hardware which is the opposite of compatibility.

People are used to their workflows and windows makes it a big deal to update from one version to another. Especially if you’ve made particular setups or used hacks they’re pretty much guaranteed to stop working. Linux doesn’t usually do this but I’m getting the same issue with android where every update breaks something and it’s worse because here there is no option to not upgrade.

Reading UIs is definitely a skill, I can navigate most menus regardless of language. But it makes it harder to design stuff for the average user.
How long I’m willing to watch depends more on the video than on who sent it. If it’s too long to watch right then but still interesting I might save it for later.
Sadly SwiftKey cause it’s hard to find a good enough F-droid alternative with a working auto-complete. Plus ThumbKey when typing with one hand.

I was discouraged from doing that as a kid so ended up just cutting everything beforehand and then switching hands because it was faster.

I wonder are there cultures where you hold the knife in your non-dominant hand because switching the fork around always seemed inefficient.

Southern Europe here where the sun is also a deadly laser. Only parasols you can see are held by Asian tourists. Most people don’t even wear sunscreen.

But “indefinite leave to remain” is apparently a noun according to the other comment, making “plans” the verb. Just English being English. Some capitalization would have been useful here.
If it doesn’t stop it from eating and doesn’t get infected somehow I guess it wouldn’t necessarily kill it. I don’t remember if it was eating but it moved around normally.

Oof, sadly these are maybe the only decent phones keeping an SD card and headphone jack. Not sure what else to get for my next phone.

No suggestions but an opinion on the Sony Xperia line. If size is the most important factor keep in mind that the “long” aspect ratio makes it awkward to hold for its size and may have more trouble fitting into pockets than other small phones. If you don’t mind the lack of sd/headphone jack a Pixel is probably better.

Want to share some of those writers? It’s not easy to find books that are actually disturbing.
The houses were being rented to locals who are now pushed out so the houses can be offered as much more expensive airbnbs.

Not entirely ambidextrous but yes. And then you end up rearranging hand responsibilities so you can do some things at the same time.

You watched kids movies at school? I think we were only ever shown 3-4 movies that were relevant to the class (eg. The sound of music in English class) but I don’t really remember them, they were pretty forgettable. The one I really liked though was 12 years a slave (in high school). It was really impactful and I wouldn’t have watched it otherwise so appreciate that they decided we were mature enough for it.

Do you usually use an umbrella when it’s sunny or would you do it just to charge the battery? I know it’s a thing but only very rarely see people do that, probably not enough to have demand for something like this. Backpacks with solar panels exist but I think these are pretty hard to find too.
And you can continue the fun when they start experimenting with it and inevitably fall into option 1.5 and have the window hanging from one corner.
This might have been a link, not a search but still, enjoy.
