Ah doesn’t matter. Dont use windows. Use a pi and something like LibreELEC or even you can run debloated android on it with the TV interface and a remote. Just get a BT remote or an IR receiver plug into the usb port. Either of them are pretty cheap

This would’ve worked just a few years back but due to shitty “age verification” laws, even TV manufacturers willl force users to create an account the very least for the TV to even start up. They may also implement an always-online model and they’ll justify that it’s necessary to monitor users for “age verification purposes”. ATP better to get a good monitor and use it as TV cuz cable or satellite boxes are either way gonna be provided by the network companies so that’s there

Yeah that’s why I’m debating brave. Firefox is good to especially after the huge engine overhaul a few years ago.

Edge will soon follow. They announced it. Polly will switch to helium or brave

Then why do they have the word “buy” on the PS store🤨

The infighting and imminent downfall of AI clapping companies is so satisfying to watch

Kidnapping a country’s leader and then capturing the oil refineries and oil fields is NOT the definition of a “deal” 🙂

With ai hallucinations…Ai fakery and the topmost reason being layoffs being attributed increasingly to AI…I don’t think so there’s anything much to love about AIs. When billionaires tell the society to love something… it’s because there’s 10000% profit for them in that and almost none for us masses.

In fact, MegaLag in his video noted that one of initial lawsuits was disposed off hence part 3 took a long time to make without much of an update

True. One can only innovate so much in a particular product. So, every company irrespective of requirement is putting “AI” into their products just to make investors happy which in turn screws cust experience in a lot of cases. The best example is AI customer service desk. Oh god! It’s rare these days to get human support. Seems like every company has onboarded AI support system

Yeah! Firefox after a certain time (pre 2017 as mentioned by u) felt slow and sluggish compared to chrome but now in some cases it’s better than chrome

Again, why do we need to unnecessarily complicate stuff with multiple IoT options?? Why can’t it have a fallback offline like idk…a SIMPLE TIMER? Or is it another case of “AI integration” into yet another thing which doesn’t need AI!

Grabbing up a grok sub cuz only grok has the guts to tell the truth…even if it goes against it’s creators
Dude forgot that its not something like computers or the internet. Jobs DONT depend on AI. AI is only used for assistance. Heck AI uses the same tools as humans to perform the same task so yeah no. If AI dissappear tomorrow (which a lot us will want to cuz RAM prices…nonsensical AI videos images etc), my job will be even more secured. No issues if AI goes away. Also, in some sensitive client projects, companies dont even allow the use of AI so it doesn’t really matter

Switched to edge after chrome notified that adblock and other manifest v2 extensions will be blocked. Edge did the same thing recently. Now switched to Firefox. Used to use Firefox way back in the day then left it due to Chrome but now Firefox feels like home. Surprisingly l, it’s faster in some cases compared to Chrome. Not a single regret after switching. Adblock stays which is extremely important esp after youtube increased ads
This is also evident in germany where most teens live separately from 17 yrs of age and up. Anybody not doing so used to get ridiculed by their friends group. These days teens are increasingly living with their parents again in germany just due to rising costs and lower job opportunities. But hey, AI is cool!
You CAN do this with a few products of diff companies with the help of home assistant and plugins BUT many companies are pulling off support OR restricting features to its own app and giving free access to the bare minimum voa protocols like matter and all. I read somewhere on reddit that a robovac company had matter access technically but only the vac on off switch access was there and none of the other basic functions. For that you need their app. But again, still some companies do support all it’s features on home assistant. Many light fixtures, switches, ACs and much more support it. So yes you can run them locally BUT it all depends on the manufacturer how much control they are willing to provide openly
