Thanks for taking your time reding trough it. I didn’t know Tempus was a fork, but that makes much more sense. Regarding opeing a github issue I prefer to not interact with GitHub out of personal beliefs, but if you have a mirror on Codeberg or GitLab I would love to contribute!

• you cant pull down the player on cover image
• you need to scroll all the way to the top of the song queue to swipe down, and back button closes the queue AND player. I found out you can pull fown if you pull over the drop shaped “+” button which is not obvious at all, and it still sometimes closes the player too.
• in Home in the corner there is a three button overflow menu icon, but when pressed only option is settings. Why not just make it a gear icon to begin with?
• same thing with build-in equalizer when in player
• why does sleep timer has to have 7 presets + end of song + custom? I belive 3 presets + end of song + custom is more than enough. I mean how much time are we saving here?
• in downloads option for changing view type from artist/album/track… uses a filter icon even though it is not doing any filtering. Sort would also be nice for most recent, but that is more of a feature request
• When downloading a song the download icon next to it doesnt apear untill you refresh it (sometimes?)

This is more personilized now but UI looks dated. Before switching to Subsonic I used a client called InnerTune and may be controversial but in terms of looks Tempus for me is clearly a downgrade, and so do say my friends I showed it to.

Now I listed just the UI stuff I dislike, excluding what I like. Hope this clears it out. :3

Still, my biggest problem in this app is UI. I really hope some nice UX changes come around soon seeing as functionality side is so advanced in comparison. Still I thank thr devs for all the love and work they put in it!

as a teen doing homelab I can say it is great learning and fun while still being quite easy and with the benefit of being independent of big tech, saving on subscriptions. Also I can brag about how homelab is great to my friends :3.

I never thought game subscription would take of. The entire concept is stupid to me. Pay per month to *acces selected games but not own them? Take into accoumt 90% of people will play at most 25% of the catalogue. Let’s do some math if PS Plus Essentials, where you get 2-4 random titles per month is taken, which costs 9€ per month which if you play down to 25% of the catalogue goes up to 36€ per month (that is you basicly pay 36€ to play that single game which was chosen at random and you still don’t own). For that ammount of money I can buy a REAL game I OWN or 5 good games on Steam Sale or GOG.

Still I guess if it sounds good people will smoke it.

To be clear these statistics are purly “Trust me bro” but I doubt someone will play Core Keeper, Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed and NFS: Unbound all in one month enough that it makes sense, and if you can more power to you, but I know those are not most people. Most people play Minecraft or Elder Scrolls or COD or GT etc.

In my honest opinion Sony Xperia (1 or 5) lineup is best Android has to offer, especially with LineageOS.

Nothing is good if you like the design, but it is expiriencing enshitification at a rapid pace.

Samsung is a no go (at least flagships) for their size, AI bullshit and forcing Samsung garbage on you (Samsung account, Samsung appstore, Samsung pay, etc.) .

Motorola is ok imo, just not much support from Lenovo.

Pixel is huge, underpowered and google is ruining it day by day.
