It’s not an app, it’s the largest crowdsourced mapping database. If you never heard of it, that’s sad…
I really hope so but I just checked Apple and Google Maps and they both say “Gulf of Mexico (Gulf of America)” and I’m not even in the states… these stupid tech giants have no backbone

TIL: Under Article 3© of the Chicago Convention, a state aircraft cannot fly over another country’s territory without that country’s authorization.
Whereas for ordinary commercial airliners, the necessary overflight rights are usually already established through international treaties and bilateral/multilateral aviation agreements.
