And give them guns.

And give them guns.

I think his mod team quit/got fired yesterday so I’m guessing not to well.
They did have to give them a special gun so they weren’t killed by bears though.

Looking into those incidents further most of those appear to be cases where the alcohol was adulterated with methanol rather than as a result of distillation.

Man, a lot of people here just repeating the same old myths and police lines about moonshine making you blind and stills exploding. Not to be that guy but do some research.
Methanol poisoning is hugely overstated, sugar and grain mash don’t produce enough for it to be dangerous. Fruit mash can, but it’s easy to mitigate. Most cases of methanol poisoning are either the person purposefully drinking methanol or from alcohol that’s been adulterated with it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_methanol_poisoning_incidents
Stills can start fires, if improperly operated, but so can gas hobs and we’re not calling for a license to operate those. You really need to be making industrial quantities at pressure for it to explode. Looking at it as a cause of fires in countries where it’s legal indicate that it’s a non-issue. If you’re worried about forest fires, don’t make it so people need to hide in the woods and they’ll do it at home.

That’s actually a myth, grain and sugar mash produce very little methanol, way below the harmful amount. Fruit mash can produce harmful amounts, but can be easily mitigated. Most cases of methanol poisoning are from people purposefully consuming it or from alcohol that has been adulterated with methanol - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_methanol_poisoning_incidents

Thats actually a myth, it’s basically nothing in sugar and grain based mashes and can be mitigated easily with fruit mashes. It’s one of those things that’s been perpetuated through scaremongering, almost all cases have been purposeful methanol consumption or adulteration - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_methanol_poisoning_incidents

As I understand it the risk of methanol poisoning from home distillation is hugely overstated in grain and sugar based mash and can be effectively mitigated in fruit based mash with fairly simply.

This is kinda kinda a bad example, it’s more akin to listening to a bad cover of the original song. Also this tech sure as shit isn’t going to run on cheap hardware which makes it even more egregious.

Actually they’re suing because of these alleged infringement of these weirdly general patents:
If people actually read the article, it’s not calling for workers rights to be included in skg but is saying that the problems that skg is addressing stem from the same industry practices that treat industry workers as disposable. The article is right, companies will happily dispose of both workers and games as soon as it is their financial interest to do so.

Altermagnetism - if you’d like to try your hand at understanding it.

So looking at it further, the use case is for a “spin faucet” that could be used to rapidly control the spin polarization of an electric current. I’m not really familiar with spintronics, but it could have big implications for computing hardware.

It seems really weird complicated but what I could gather is it’s third sort of magnet with alternating electron spin. Your standard fridge magnet the electrons all spin in the same direction so that it’s pulled, for example, towards your fridge. These new magnets have no outward macro magnetism because the fields all cancel each other out. We made a magnet that doesn’t act like a magnet.
Yeah it shares a lot of stuff with Dishonored gameplay wise, but has a roguelike bent to it. It doesn’t compare in terms of world building but it’s still fun, especially for free.
For the cowbird this is normal. Cowbirds are brood parasites, it’s snuck in whilst the robin was away and laid it’s egg for the robin to raise. If the robin is smart enough to notice what’s happened they will often still raise it anyway, as the adult cowbird will be keeping an eye on the host nest and will destroy the other eggs if the robin rejects it.
A man so abhorrent his wife and family wants nothing to do with him.
It takes a minimum of about 3 years to set up chip factories and longer to ramp up production, so it’s likely they think of this as a problem for the next CEO.
