I made pseudo folders by applying tags to apps I wanted to group, gave that tag an emoji, added a few app boxes to the widget page, and added the tags I wanted quick access to into those app boxes. Result looks like this.

Well yeah, but not every dev and company is ConcernedApe. I reckon the same can be said of Balatro dev, and Team Cherry, and a few others. It’s awesome for them who can afford to do this, but that’s definitely not the norm. Most companies can’t afford to sit on a project for 8 years without releasing a product.

That would be nice in a perfect world but bills need to be paid. I’m not defending crunch time, but not every project can afford to be “ready when it’s ready”. I don’t think many companies would survive like that.

What do you mean? My partner and I use the same Immich server, but I don’t see her photos unless they are explicitly shared.

Hm do you cook chocolate?

I don’t praise billionaires.

Immich is apparently not on not changing the original file. This was learnt by me when I used their storage template feature to rename all of my and my partner’s images when uploaded to our server to a single, unified, agreed upon structure. And then, when we made an album and downloaded that album, were confused to find out that the files were all the original filenames, not the new structure. A little bit annoying imho, but Immich is still great.

Ubisoft has been scrambling for weeks now and it just seems to keep going.

I mean, Steam cloud saves only work with Steam, no?

Yeah, I understand Linux gaming was not great until fairly recently. Heroic and Lutris have been around for a few years now as I understand it, though I admit I’m still new to the scene. Honestly though, in my experience, Steam still doesn’t just work in some cases, and I’ve admitted to myself that’s just going to be the Linux gaming experience. I check Proton DB before buying any game now.

Is there any launcher that doesn’t offer free cloud saves these days?
(not neglecting that Stream normalized it, for the record)

If you care this much about not using Steam, why would this be the deciding factor? I can play GoG games right now on Linux.

I’m assuming they they were counting for the purposes of a report. To be clear, I consider the issue here is not that they are counting, as I actually want that info for the report, but rather that they weren’t administering first aid, as the doctor points out.
Not that I expect that, frankly, from them. Especially not after Good.

All the power to them but it’s a bit late to “prepare” for it.
I mean, I do think this one was fairly cheap. And home assistant integration was a must for me.
I just got the exact same feeder! Like, genuinely ten minutes ago. Except it’s white. Ended up going with this one based on some good reviews and a homeassistant integration.

We’ll have to agree to disagree about it feeling completely different then! Not least of which because I haven’t gotten to feel it at all, since it’s not out. It looks very cool and fun imho though! Still think the headline is unfair.

What do you think I meant by reimagined?
Oof, on Boost those links aren’t parsed correctly.
Used Nova for almost a decade. Switched a few weeks ago when the news broke of them adding ad tracking.
I like Kvaesitso so far.
