Colonisation has somewhat preserved elements aspects of English in our vocabulary in South Asia.
For example I almost never hear anyone on the anglosphere say “ta ta” but in Bangladesh it is a semi-regular part of our “goodbye speech”
Another such phrase is “Oil your own machine”, I never hear it in the anglosphere.

Only western far right subs are quelled. Indian right wing subreddits literally openly talk about lebonsbrauming my country and taking our land. Saw an open discourse on a random Indian sub of a dude saying they should give the “Felani treatment” to Bangladeshis. Felani was a 15 year old child shot by Indian border guard btw.
Just now saw a bullshit infographic on r/mapporn showing “islamization” of Bangladesh when its quite literally population increase. East Bengal had been Muslim majority since the British and the partition led to many minorities leaving. I wont make excuses for religious fundamentalists in my country but religious fundamentalism is a topic where INDIAN RIGHT WINGERS shouldn’t lecture anyone. Of course this is without even delving into their mass propaganda campaign about every sigle facet of my cojntr started from the genocide WE FACED in 1971(chaddis somehow victimize themselves in a genocide we faced) and everything else.
Westerners upvote it blindly because they too are mostly islamophobic, liberals included.
Sorry for this random rant, Reddit is very very right-wing. You just are not familiar with the spaces that are.
