This conversation was about me saying no that is not conflation, and agreeing with the intent of the person you replied to. It’s not any bigger than that.
The intent of the person you replied to being, WTF is “we didn’t have a problem”?? Yes, everyone please clap for Newsom, he called ICE cruel! He sure told Trump off! I’ll criticise Newsom all day long and you can call me stupid and complain about where I’m putting my goalposts.
Emphasis mine.
Now see, the first emphasis is not actually equivalent to the second. Therefore, the headline is false.
In the first sentence of the article, they link to another of their own articles from July 4th which proclaims “Donald Trump Gets Polling Boost From Hispanics” wherein they reveal “Trump’s net approval rating among Hispanic voters stands at -30 points, with 32 percent approving and 62 percent disapproving. That is up from a net approval of -37 points in May, when 26 percent approved and 63 percent disapproved.”
Sure, Trump is getting “boosted” by 4% more Hispanic voters deciding they like him at the same time 1% more Hispanic voters decided they dont.
Oh yeah, and then at the end of the linked article they shill for DHS’ app and cash offer? WTF, Newsweek?
