This guy didn’t fire the fatal shot, and in fact none of the shots he fired found anyone. But he fired 10 shots, blindly into the apartment, after being fired up in by Taylor’s boyfriend (who thought they were being robbed). And he wasn’t convicted of murder or attempted murder, but rather under civil rights laws of depriving Taylor of her civil rights (which is phrasing only a lawyer would love).
If anything, he’s lucky he’s such a poor shot. If he had hit anyone he would have been in a lot more trouble.
