Janta Power closed $5.5 million in seed funding to develop its vertical solar tower, with pilot programs already underway in major global airports like Dallas-Fort Worth and Munich International Airport.
It says “designed to have high levels of energy density for space-constrained areas”. I take it that if you need more power but don’t have space for more of the lower cost alternatives, then these might be worth the expense.
300% the cost, 150% capacity increase.
Am I crazy or is this math not at all impressive?
Same was said about all solar panels 10 years ago.
