I think keeping the charm of 2d sprites within a world that feels 3d has been done very well, it feels really ambitious for a fan project but definetly has a lot of potential.
shame that it will never get finished now =(
I simply can’t understand why the hell people advertise stuff like this before it’s completed. You KNOW what’s going to happen. Just work on it quietly until it’s done, then put it out there, nothing can be done about it.
Not sure if it’s the case here, but these are tons of work and inspired fans may donate or offer resources to assist with the process. Can’t really be mad at them for wanting that possibility
And the second you get money for that kind of work then you’re fucked, you’re profiting of someone else’s copyright and trademark
Hadn’t seen this, thanks.
It’s just as true today as it was 8 years ago.
Holy shit. Zarxrax? As in AMV legend Zarxrax?
Legend? I guess so.
Well you’re a legend to me. I have tons of your videos saved and they were a huge part of my childhood. I regularly rewatch them, so I just wanna say thanks for all the hard work and for the memories!
Amazing, I wish that Gamefreak went for this art style rather than the early 2000s GameCube look of the newer entries.
DMCA in 5… 4…
Yeah, there is no way this gets released to the wild or even finished.
Isn’t it already available
Oh it’s a demo
Man, I wish this is the art direction that the official Pokémon games used.
If you like this art style, I highly recommend Cassette Beasts. Great Pokémon-like that does enough to feel unique but still scratch that itch.
Cassette Beasts, my beloved
Cease and desist coming in three…. two…
This looks super cool! Praying Nintendo doesn’t come for you
Everything looks fire except for the player character
I’m not a fan of those sprites in the over world.
Just clashes hard in my brain
