Apple CEO Tim Cook is stepping down as Apple's chief executive officer, and hardware engineering chief John Ternus is set to take over, Apple announced today. Cook will continue on as Apple CEO through the summer, with Ternus set to join Apple's Board of Directors and take over as CEO on September 1, 2026.

        I was gonna say. Complaining about Apple not working well (or at all) with 3rd party hardware and software has always been an exercise in futility. Like since the late 1980’s, always.

        Long ago they positioned themselves as a premium brand with an image to maintain. Can’t let the plebs skate by with cheap add-ons.

          Doesn’t surprise me. The Mac Studio is essentially a trash can Mac Pro but less trash can and more Mac Mini.

            Mac Studio is a Mac mini with better cooling and better all around specs.

            The trash can MacPro was kinda cool when introduced, but then they never bother to upgrade it.
