the pentagon has reported this conflict costing about 29 billion dollars since it started about 3 months ago. this number will go up once it ends due to long term care for veterans, not to mention the inflation it has brought americans. this erased any raises they may have gotten this year.

and all we got in return was check notes a sense of pride and accomplishment!! what a delusion article for sure lmao

wearing us down is how we let these scumbags win, and you’re feeling those effects.

stay informed, but also ground yourself with things in your immediate control if you’re feeling burnt out. you got this 💪

      bullshit leftist feelgood article

Are you saying they are lying and that the USA aren’t effectively losing the war in Iran? I think you’re wrong.

people share these articles to make themselves feel like something is being done

You can’t know why OP shared that article.

And I think you over- or underestimate people’s happy comments here. Being happy that Trump fucked up and won’t be glassing a Middle Eastern country is one thing - “Copium” is another. I honestly don’t think any of the roughly 30 comments here are unaware that things are still very much fucked up in the USA.

I’ll concede one point to you though: many concentrate too much on hating Trump the person, not the whole admin.

Assuming you live in the USA you still have my deepfelt empathy though. Can’t be easy.

I feel you, I really do.

Maybe I see it differently not only because I don’t live there and don’t suffer directly, but also because I see how other countries - both their leaders and their people - react.

And I maintain: being gleeful about this one thing doesn’t mean all the other things you’re saying. Maybe you should try it too.
