I hope that if we ever felt actual war it would motivate political action but it would just accelerate our hate of each other as the sides exploit it.
You forgot the whole mercenaries thing in the beginning. It was pretty funny when they turned around to attack the hand that didn’t feed them.
I wish their leader had realized that what he did wasn’t something you could just back down from and that his life was on the line either way.

Yeah, the “Mexico bombing New Mexico and California” really needs updating. Mexico is bombing Washington D.C. and NYC now.
Recently the oil refinery in Washington DC got bombed by Mexican drones. 😄
And the key difference is that the US would feel the stupidity locally. In the Iran Folly / Epstein Distraction War, the most victims on the non-Iranian side were in middle east countries, and, apart from Israelis, of no concern to the US.

Canada, England, and France would all definitely help the USA.
It’s actually politically damaging to help the USA in its folly wars under this regime. Trump is even less popular in Europe than he is in the US. I guess they probably would help, but not definitely, and definitely not enthusiastically.
If somebody attacked American soil then everybody’s attitude would be different. There’s no comparison between “helping Trump bomb innocent Iranians” and “helping Americans in New Mexico and California who are being bombed.” Other western countries would help enthusiastically against an invasion into the USA. There’s no doubt about this.
… Except if the USA was the aggressor, invading that country in a folly war. I think there is doubt about that.
Mexico shelling towns in California? There’s no way anybody stands by while that happens.
