This guy is a year old - his mom already kicked him off the teat, but he still enjoys an occasional bottle. Got to meet him, then he jumped into his fabric pouch (they like to sleep in them) and drank the formula.
It was adorable and totally made my week!

This is in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, USA. There is a tiny kangaroo farm (actually located in Brighton, Colorado), and they do meet and greets and bottle feedings.
Farm them for meat?
I have to say kangaroo meat is indeed surprisingly good.
I am sooooo jelly. I would absolutely 100% cry but I don’t care, I want to bottle feed a kangaroo too!

I bottle fed a standing young roo, 6 weeks ago.
They go full happy-place, and close their eyes while drinking.
