Please don’t be angry, but your post title could be interpreted as though you’re fed up with guessing on how to make someone (and others) happy. That sort of people that will never be happy and feed off others, thus the codependency mention by the earlier comment.

You might want to read about the concept of codependency and see if it sounds like what you’re dealing with.
