Thank you for pointing this out - it looks like someone took the original below and slopped it. WHY?! Why was the original not good enough? We will never know. I shall update the post.

I won’t either. There is also a trend a take a cute animal pic of an animal doing something, and then replace the type of animal with AI. Let’s say it’s two dogs cuddling in a cute way, and they will regenerate it to be two cats or guinea pigs or whatever. It’s nuts!

It’s good that the usage of AI doesn’t cause environmental problems. Imagine we would use it for things like these, and it would be bad for us 😑

I saw another example of something like this recently. I wonder if somebody used an AI upscale and it slopped it up. The slop version does look larger than the original. I wonder why it replaced the OP name and PFP though…

Edit: Looking at this some more and boy it’s fucking weird. The numbers of likes/comments/rethreads or whatever the call them are all the same, but the icons are different. The OP is changed, but the username/picture of the reply are the same. Even the icon of the user that liked the reply seems to be the same. I can’t fucking imagine why this was done, lol.

Lmao you almost got me. That stuff is easy to miss, I didn’t notice it either until I was about to send it to some friends.

Regarding misspellings being easy to miss: my father was running for a small local office years ago and included that he had experience with “pubic relations” on a flyer that he mailed out. He did not win that election…

Hell, first poster’s name is a little too on the nose for the post too lol. I mean it COULD be a joke account but not sure. I hate Threads and have never used it, so finding this account is probs to hard for me… Idk what the “tweet/post” layout looks like on there. Is there a thread logo on the main post and a heart on replies?

The first poster’s name doesn’t appear in search results except in this meme’s OCR. Also, amount of likes to reposts and whatever plane signs are do not make sense.
